wow...

Planning meals are a bit more time consuming and difficult then I thought it would be. You have to balance cost with foods that will fill you up and not cost all your points in one sitting. And that don't involve swinging through McDonald's...lol. I guess I kind of want to use this opportunity to try out new recipes and different things I haven't before. Have to go grocery shopping tomorrow - yippee - NOT! It's expensive to eat healthy....

My bottom is so big it's got its own gravitational field.

Friday weigh in

I decided on friday mornings because that gives me all week to make up for anything bad that I did on the weekends.  Monday I started at 190.0. This morning I am 186.8. if I can find alternates for my severe fast food cravings... I definitely think this could be doable. However I am seriously not touching a damn measuring tape for at least a month! Quote of the day - if they told me to haul ass... it would take me two trips!

Hump day

So I was mostly good on Monday, didn't really start until the evening when I bought my subscription to the site. Tuesday wasn't too bad. I went over points by a couple, but I still have the majority of my weekly points left. Today will be better. I used the quick guide to make lunch and breakfast. Measuring portions is a pain in the ass though. Need a food scale. Found out greek seasoning is yummy on hard boiled eggs. Got a few activity points for running/walking around in circles at practice. Couldn't skate, as my wonderful hubby went rummaging in the back of the suburban and didn't re-wedge the cooler. Therefore, the back of the suburban and my derby bag is soaking wet from where it tipped over. Men! So we will keep going onward...It's harder then I thought not weighing myself every morning and waiting for the weigh in.

Major food makeover...

Well I was going through my usual routine this morning... and started checking  points values of stuff I usually eat ( that I thought was healthy).  Wow.  So I think I will probably go over my point values this week. on friday when I go grocery shopping I think the easiest thing to do... at least while I'm learning... is to get the weight watchers frozen lunches and breakfasts.  It is just too hectic during the week to learn portion control.  I will work on that during the weekend.  I am also going to have to make a menu and actually stick to it!

In a galaxy far far away...

There lived a fat (or as my son corrected me - fluffy) wife, mom, and derby girl. She lacked willpower and drive. She hated exercise. So she slowly got fluffier and fluffier. She constantly resolved to get in better shape. She felt very unattractive when she waddled. So she decided to try Weight Watchers and start a blog to hold herself accountable. She decided to be brutally honest with herself and everyone else...so she considered everyone warned and called upon all her friends in galaxies far and wide to subscribe to her blog so they could support her and yell at her and make her be good. She stepped out of her spaceship and onto a scale and decided the gravity on this planet SUCKED ASS! So she starts her journey at 190 lbs.
